My family is the most essential part of my life. My family is truly a blessing in the crazy hectic life that God has decided to test me with. I am going to give you a short but sweet idea of the members in my madness:
Justin is my husband and has been the man in my life for the past 10 1/2 years. We have had our problems, like most marriages do, but we were able to figure out what were doing wrong and take the needed steps to fix what was broken. I am the happiest I have ever been. He is a police officer. He is my biggest supporter and he keeps me grounded, most importantly, He loves me with all of his heart!
Lucas is my son. He is my first born and my true first love. You love people in your life, but never as much as you love your children. Lucas is turning 7 in August. In 2010 he was diagnosed with Aspergers and ADHD. A large portion of my blogs will be about him and how I deal with my daily frustrations of being the parent of an Aspergers Child.
Brooklyn Rose is my daughter. She is probably my favorite person to ever walk this earth, she also drives me insane. She is 4 1/2 years old going on 14. She has the most distinct personality of any child I have ever met. She can melt your heart in the wink of an eye, literally! She is only 1 year away from Kindergarten, which will give her mommy a nice needed and well deserved break.
Marsha and Simon are my grandparents. They are my rocks. My grandparents took on the task of raising me when my mother became a drug addict when I was a very young child. They are two people that I admire the most in the world. I look to them for guidance and respect them, even if I suck at showing it all of the time. I thank them so much for taking me on, even when it wasn't their job. I love them so much.
Beth is my mother. She is probably the person with the most potential in my life but lacks the knowledge and drive to make something of her life. She has been a drug addict basically my entire life and has missed the majority of my life. I love her so much but I am lost with her. I only wish her the best in her life. <3
Ted and Renea are the super cool and awesome Aunt and Uncle. They are always there for me, no matter what and usually with no questions asked. They are more like my brother and sister in law..in fact, they are my brother and sister in law. Their children, Isabella and Claudia are two little girls that I love the most under my Brooklyn. I want them all to know that they can always come to me for anything.
Kate is my best friend but she falls in the family category because she is more like my little sister. She was my support and strength when I got pregnant in high school. She stood behind me when I decided to marry Justin and give birth to my Lucas. She is my children's Aunt Kate. She is the person I stay more in touch with and that I rely on. It is important that I NEVER lose kate. I love you girl! (She also designed my VERY awesome blog)
Loki is my oldest and most loyal furbaby!! He is a 11 year old German Shepard, Rottweiler mix. He is just the perfect pet. Lovable and fun.
TJ is my 7 month old black lab. We got him when he was 2 months old. We just love him, but he is crazy!!!!
